DS - 1083
PRODUCT
USE :
DES 1083 has been developed primarily to prevent strontium
sulphate scale in crude oil production operations. It
can also be used to prevent calcium sulphate and calcium
carbonate scaling.
DESCRIPTION :
DES 1083 is a neutralized Ethylene Disphosphonic
Acid based product. Which gives protection from mineral
scale deposition even under elevated temperatures and
pressure. This product may be introduced into system
by continuous injection or by squeeze treatment.
APPLICATION :
DES 1083 maybe injected, on a continuous basis,
at 5-50 PPM dosage rates depending on the severity of
the problem. DES 1083 has been developed for Bombay
high offshore injection water treatment.
HANDLING :
DES 1083 can be stored in closed containers away
from direct sunlight at ambient temperature. During
handling, direct contact with human body is to be avoided.
Safety goggles and gloves are recommended for safe handling.
The spillage can be washed with copious amount of water.
On Ingestion/Eye contact with the product, material
should be sought immediately.
