PRODUCT USE :
HFA 704A is an especially formulated chemical designed
to significantly lower the pour point of crude oil to
prevent from plugging flow lines, separators etc.
DESCRIPTION :
HFA 704A is based on an acrylate polymer with specific
selected side chains in an aromatic solvent. The active
ingredient will function as a crystal adhesion/size deformer
and, hence, lower pour point and improve flow characteristics.
APPLICATION :
HFA 704A should be mixed into the oil at a temperature
above the pour point of the crude oil. Before injection
HFA 704A must be heated if ambient temperature is below
50 C. the most effective treating must be determined in
the field or by laboratory methods, but indicative dosage
rate between 100-500 PPM.
HANDLING :
HFA 704A can be stored in closed containers away from
direct sunlight at ambient temperature. During handling,
direct contact with human body will be avoided. Safety
goggles and gloves are recommended for safe handling.
The spoilage can be washed with copious amount of water.
On Ingestion/Eye contact with the product, medical attention
should be sought immediately.
