PRODUCT USE :
CB 545 is a combined film forming and neutralizing corrosion inhibitor designed for use in distillation plants of refineries and for gas or multiphase pipelines in oil industry.

DESCRIPTION :
CB 545 contains neutralizing and film forming amines in Alkanol / hydrocarbon solvent system.

APPLICATION :
CB 545 is a general-purpose corrosion inhibitor for protection against corrosion caused by hydrogen chloride and “sour/sweet gases. Typical injection rates would be 5-50 PPM. Used in distillation plants, CB 545 should be injected at 5-15 PPM, expressed in terms of the top product leaving the head of the distillation column.

HANDLING :
CB 545 can be stored in closed containers away from direct sunlight at ambient temperature. During handling, direct contact with human body is to be avoided. Safety goggles and gloves are recommended for safe handling. The spillage can be washed with copious amount of water. On ingestion / Eye contact with the product, medical attention should be sought immediately.
