PRODUCT USE :
CB 497 is a water-soluble film forming organic corrosion inhibitor. CB 497 has very low toxicity and is biodegradable. CB 497 is designed to control internal corrosion caused by dissolved oxygen in oil & gas production systems, water injection systems and pipelines.

DESCRIPTION :
CB 497 is a specially designed low toxic corrosion inhibitor. CB 497 effectively control corrosion by dissolved oxygen. It can be used to treat water cut well flow lines, process equipment and oil pipelines. CB 497 is particularly suitable for pipelines application where it will partition predominantly into the water phase ensuring effective treatment of water setting out at low spots. 

APPLICATION :
CB 497 should be applied by continuous injection. For water injection systems, typically dosage level will be 10-50 PPM.

HANDLING :
CB 497 can be stored in closed containers away from direct sunlight at ambient temperature. During handling, direct contact with human body is to be avoided. Safety goggles and gloves are recommended for safe handling. The spillage can be washed with copious amount of water. On Ingestion/Eye contact with the product, medical attention should be sought immediately.
